Kaseya - Security

The Kaseya software design team brings over 50 years of experience developing secure systems for government and commercial applications. The Hosted Kaseya Managed Services Software is designed with comprehensive security throughout and is a blend of technology and expertise that uniquely combines ease-of-use with high security in one application.

The Kaseya architecture is central to providing maximum security. The Kaseya Agent initiates all communications back to the SecureMyCompany network. The agent will not accept any inbound connections; therefore, it is impossible for a third party application to attack the agent from within the network.

The Kaseya Agent software does not require any inbound ports be opened the managed machine(s). This unique feature of Kaseya allows the Kaseya Agent do its job in virtually any network configuration - without introducing any susceptibility to inbound port probes or new network attacks.

The Kaseya servers are managed by SecureMyCompany and protects against "man-in-the-middle" attacks by encrypting all communications between the Kaseya Agent and the SecureMyCompany network using 256-bit, RC4 encryption. A new encryption key is created each time the Kaseya server tasks the remote Kaseya Agent (at least once per day).

The SecureMyCompany applications reside in a secure data center managed by Rackspace. The entire data center is equipped with state-of-the-art video and audio monitoring equipment and 24 x 7 on-site guards. All individuals entering the building are required to register with the security office and leave a valid ID while in the building. The Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed 24 x 7 by qualified engineers that maintain a direct line-of-site view into the data center.
